Foam roller stretch for the back

A foam roller can be used to stretch and massage most muscles in the body. I love using them for the upper back/shoulder blade area. This area can become quite tight during pregnancy due to increased size in your chest and belly and a change in posture. Lie with the foam roller positioned horizontally under your bra line. Then lift your hips up and use your legs to roll your body over the roller. You will only need to do this for 1-2 minutes for relief. If you experience pelvic pain or discomfort when trying to do this, cease using the foam roller and follow my stretching guide instead.
