Early postpartum exercises to do

After birth the most important first step is to REST! This means lying down as often as you can to allow your pelvic floor and abdominals to recover properly.

The next step in recovery is to start small walks and gradually build up in time as you feel comfortable.

Once you are 4 weeks post vaginal birth or 6 weeks post C-section you can start these gentle core exercises to improve your abdominal strength.

Grab a pen and paper and write these exercises down so you don’t forget them once the baby arrives! 🙂
